TRACK and FIELD MEET Information for tomorrow Saturday, March 21st

Good evening Dickson Track & Field Families,
We are excited for our students participating in the Chino Valley Youth Track & Field Meet this Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Chino High School!
📍 Arrival & Check-In / Meeting Location:
Please plan to arrive no later than 7:30 a.m.
Athletes will receive their team shirt and bib, which lists all their events.
We will meet on the artificial grass by the tennis courts. Look for Coach Baeza or Coach Biddle with a Dickson poster set up on two tables.
The Parade of Athletes begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., and students must be on the field ready to walk with our Dickson team.
⏰ Important Timing:
• 7:45 a.m. – Coach Baeza will report to the staging area for the parade
• If you arrive late, please find us in the stands under the Dickson easy-up to receive your child’s track number
• The event will run approximately from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
🎽 Events & Athlete Movement:
• Each student is assigned events based on their birth year
• Please check your child’s bib for event details
• Listen for announcements so you know when to send your child to the staging area
• Only athletes and staff are allowed on the field—staff will help guide students
👨👩👧 Parent/Guardian Responsibilities:
• Families must remain in the stands at all times
• Please make sure your child knows exactly where you will be sitting
• An adult must remain on site with your child for the entire event
• This is a City of Chino event—there is no supervision for unaccompanied children
🎒 What to Bring:
• Water and cold drinks (it will be a hot day 🔥)
• Snacks, fruit, and/or lunch (sandwiches, etc.)
• Ice to keep items cool
• Comfortable chairs
• Easy-up for shade (optional but recommended)
• Sunscreen and hats are strongly encouraged
🚗 Additional Information:
• Multiple parking areas will be available (as shared during the meeting, see map if provided)
• Restrooms are located at the high school
• Please come prepared for a long, warm day outdoors
Arriving early will help families find seating together, and our Dickson banner will help you locate our group so we can cheer on our Dickson Stars as a team!
