Amazing Opportunity for Dickson Star Families!

We are excited to share that Inland SoCal United Way has selected Dickson Elementary to participate in an incredible program called United Way Community Classes! This program is designed to ensure every student receives the nourishment, supplies, and support needed to thrive — both in and out of the classroom.

Through this partnership, families will have access to helpful resources such as weekend food packs, school supplies, and additional support for their children. 

Program Details:

• Weekend Food Packs: Every Friday before dismissal, your child will receive a bag or backpack filled with food items to take home for the weekend. These items may include granola bars, instant soup cups, applesauce, and other shelf-stable snacks. 
• Supplies for School and Home: When they are available, your child may receive new school supplies and personal hygiene products, such as backpacks, books, pencils, markers, or toothbrushes. 

All services are provided at no cost, but there is a limit of 150 students, so complete your wavier as soon as possible to be considered. Families will be notified on the following Friday.

To participate and benefit from this program, families must complete a waiver. Once accepted and enrolled, students will receive food packs to take home every Friday.

If you need help completing the form, please contact our school office, we are happy to assist you. 
*If you do not see your teacher's name on the waiver, please either skip it or pick a random teacher's name and we will edit it. 
Paper waivers are also available upon request in the office.
