Good afternoon families,

Tomorrow is our first English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meeting for 2025-26. If you have a child that is part of our English Learner Program we would love for you to join us at 8:00 a.m. in room 15 to talk about all the wonderful things provided to our Dickson students and families! It is a time of celebrations and learning!

We will have a total of 4 meetings this year, each time with different topics. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and bring up new business to discuss as related to English Learning (EL) students. 

We will review the roles and responsibilities for ELAC members, provide training materials, discuss the important of attendance, and discuss recommendations for the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
